I crave sweet potatoes.
Hot from the oven they are steamy, sweet, caramelized and tender. And sweet potatoes are an incredible super food. They are high in fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C and fat free.

fat: 0 grams
carbs: 41 grams
fiber: 3-5 grams
protein: 3 grams

Vitamin C: 27% RDA
Calcium: 6% RDA
Iron: 5% RDA
Vitamin E: 7% RDA
Folate: 10% RDA
Vitamin B6: 16% RDA
Pantathenic Acid: 10% RDA

    Great post!!!Sweet potatoes and yams are different vegetables, though they are similar in taste. Sweet potatoes or more yellow/brown in color, with a more traditional potato flavor, whereas yams are orange-y with a much stronger beta carotene flavor. When incorporated into recipes with other ingredients/flavors, they become less distinguishable.
